Metaphor Chair
This project consisted in rendering my classmates personality by using metaphor as a means of personal expression through the form of a chair. Using formal Elements and Principles of Design to effective use. Personalizing the overall form and surface detail of the chair using visual metaphors.
Hummingbird: this bird represents the indepence my classmate has and shows the freedom she does in her work.
Sun: represents the happiness she has, she has a warm personality.
Daisy: there is 20 flowers across the chair that shows the age she was during this exercise and symbolizes a pure and innocent soul
Pink/Orange: The colour acrylic used in this chair shows the symbolism of both colours. the orange represents the creative soul. The pink represents the friendship, affection, harmony, inner peace, and approachability.
